Hit the Button Math 1.2

Hit the Button Math is an application designed to enhance mental math and calculation skills.

The application caters to children between the ages of 5 and 11. Offering 166 distinct game modes of varying difficulty, it proves to be beneficial across grades K-5. Players can engage in minute-long games where they strive to answer as many questions as possible, or opt for a practice mode without the pressure of a countdown timer. With randomly generated questions, the app ensures high replay value. Specifically tailored for children, the game features large, well-spaced buttons and is most suited for play on a tablet.

Six main topics are addressed in Hit the Button Math:

• Times tables - up to 10 or 12
• Division - up to 10 or 12
• Square numbers
• Number bonds
• Doubling
• Halving

Encompassing these topics are the four fundamental arithmetic operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

The app allows for the creation of up to 30 player profiles per device to monitor individual progress. Alternatively, users can opt to play as guests. All data is stored locally on the device, ensuring privacy protection. The interface also facilitates effortless profile switching post-game, catering to scenarios where multiple users share a single device.

Following each game session, players are presented with their achieved score in addition to their highest score. Bronze, silver, or gold stars and trophies are distributed based on the performance in each game.
